  • If the grips on your 1911 measure 4" long, you have a Government/Commander length grip
  • If the grips on your 1911 measure 3-1/2" long, you have an Officer/Defender length grip

    I ordered April 2 got April 26. Seem very slow shipping.mag seem like good mags going to range sun to try them out. Price for 1911 mags was a great price. Made the wait not so bad. Would be nice though when you made a order get a eta on del.

    The magazines are fine functionally but they fit snug. They eject ok but when putting the magazines in you can feel them rubbing against the sides. Not a huge deal but if you want smooth action from you magazines, like I expect to have, these are not for you.

    Is an all around great magazine, but it will not fully go in when loaded with 8 rounds.

    The factory magazine for my Rock Island 1911 would not allow the shell to chamber causing a stovepipe. I tried the the new magazines and flawless operation. Only thing to remember is only load 7 Shells, the 1911 doesn't like the 8th shell. Will be purchasing several more.
