History of the Ruger P95 through P-96 pistol, also refereed to as the early P series pistols:
The P95, which Ruger sneakily retired in October of 2013, was the last of the P-series pistols . Few lamented the passing of this under appreciated pistol.
Earlier P-series pistols, were steel- or aluminum-framed, and were offered in calibers; 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. The P95, which was introduced in 1996, lost about a half inch of barrel and was the first in the series to feature a polymer frame mated to a blued or stainless slide.
Most have a slide-mounted decocker/safety, some were offered with a decocker only. It’s a double-stack 9mm and shipped with two 15 or 10 round magazines depending upon the year and the political geography of the market for which they were bound. The P95 has ambidextrous controls. The magazine releases are identical, but the right side decocker is only a sliver of sheet metal that looks like a bit of an afterthought.

Running them through a deburing tumbler for a while would have been nice. Other than that, they're fine.

I ordered 2 of these and 1 of them seemed to be oversized. There was noticeable drag on insertion and it didn't want to release correctly. I have to tug on it pretty good while holding mag release lever. The other 1 inserted and released smoothly. I'm hoping the one will loosen up over time and use.

With EVERYTHING gun related almost an impossibility to find now-a --days, I was totally surprised when I ran across these mags for my p95dc; available and the the price was alot better than most every other site out there. I had been looking for sometime, always checking the notify me box when available when I ran across these. Holds 15 rounds and ready to go when called upon.

Not sure if I got a set that was manufactured a bit too long. I had no problem loading the magazines. they fit and feed just find. but there is still a small gap (about 1.5 mm) between the base plate and the bottom of the grip. It looks like it should be tapped in, but it is all the way in. Works great, tho.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do, but it cost a little more than it should. I paid the price, because I needed a mag, and this was all I could find.

the mags work fine...so far I have yet to test them at firing range. At first they were a bit hard to put more that a few rounds vs 15rds it is intended and to push downward but eventually I was able to put the number of rounds it is for and Im super happy with the mags. Just need range test to check fully functionality
